Rahul Purini / vp, technology
You don’t typically think of technology guys as being especially “creative” thinkers. Rahul, however, is the exception. Leading imc²'s technology team, Rahul brings a rare but refreshing creative bent to his discipline – a truly digital/human connection that differentiates the imc² technology group.
Experience working with some of the biggest marketers and technology leaders in the world has given Rahul uncommon insight into the role that technology plays in helping connect brands and people. His almost encyclopedic knowledge and passion of how brands can leverage technology to open up the world in ways that weren’t possible previously is positively infectious.
As the leader of imc²'s technology group, Rahul guides the team that makes relationships between brands and people possible. For Rahul, technology is not only a platform for enabling engagement. It’s a canvas for creating better experiences. Rahul’s combination of strategic (borderline visionary) thinking, remarkable insight into the ways people interact with technology and his ability to imagine something entirely new, renders popular assumptions about the firewalls between strategy, creative and technology roles irrelevant.
With unparalleled skill in counseling clients on how to strategically invest their time and resources, Rahul provides our clients with unrivaled technology solutions in determining the technical infrastructure required to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Rahul has more than 15 years of technology experience, with more than a decade focused in the digital space. At imc², he has spearheaded technology teams in developing solutions that include e-commerce, personalization, content management, data warehousing and enterprise-level application integration. Rahul was instrumental in leading strategic recommendations and technology architecture for Omni Hotels, The Coca-Cola Company, USA Hockey, American Diabetes Association, Saab Cars USA and Freeman Companies.
Prior to joining imc², Rahul led various initiatives with The Sabre Group, playing a key role in designing and developing n-tier solutions for several Fortune 500 clients including Toyota Corporation, Exel Logistics and Liz Claiborne. He specialized in the development of Web-based applications for customer relationship management, B2B e-commerce, supply-chain management and data warehousing.
Rahul has a Bachelor of Technology degree in computer science and engineering from S.V. University in India.
